Interesting. Similar concept for what i think im doing for my fashion project at uni
Id love to have a project to do. ill have to try set myself one at some point .
whats yours on? (i know you said fashion but what the project aim to show etc)
Project is called Here and Now, thats pretty much it, they like to leave things open like that. My initial idea is to play on the whole recession/credit crunch thing and get a load of clothes from charity shops with the aim of doing a traditionalish fashion magazine shoot for day to day clothes and one for nights out

awesome, dont know why but for some reason i imagined someone in really old fashioned (victorian) clothing in the middle of a shopping center when i thought about that for some reason but thats off the mark i think, as its not really 'now'

Yeah hoping i can get some really funky clothes then have a play out with them with a stylist (one of the fashion design students) I dont have a clue whats 'fashionable' but hopefully we can get a nice mix between that and what looks good on camera.

We do this all the time, there are only few degrees at my uni, two of them are graphics based, one is music production and theres about 10 fashion courses so the uni is FULL of girls. Not that we complain about it

Well, since no one else has done anything I thought I'd dig out a few stock photos I shot last year. I did a really good one with a bottle of gin next to some credit card bills with dramatic lighting but can't find them
Never mind, heres some other rubbish ones using a few props nicked from the misses parents house

DIdn't think it was too badly done, thanks
Biggest trouble was making sure that none of my card details or account numbers were visible. Took me about 8 attempts to arrange it so the important stuff was hidden (hence the placement of the pen and calculator)

Agree it would have done, but if you plan to put photos up as stock you're not supposed to show labels/brand names.
That said, I've just realised that I left Barclays visible twice right in the middle of the shot
