Got more done today, mainly finishing bits off ready for the road, here few pictures:


Built car back up:




Fitted my brakes g88's + DS2500:



Got slimline fan fitted and wired in:



"last" welding patch for now:



wheels with Proxies T1R's :



Old back suspension:




New back:



Nearly there:



Checking to make sure theres no rubbing issues:




And on the floor again :



Got few more jobs to do:

Wire fan override fan switch
New header tank
Check Drivers Arch
Fit front coilovers (waiting for top mounts )

got more done today, tried different crank sensor + fuel pump relay (slow to fire but not slow cranking), undersealed welded parts, sorted the drivers rear arch (rubbing), washed him ready for the road later this week.

Thanks for all the comments, the exhaust isn't changing it was off my other XE and sounds nice doesn't look great but lets face it the cars purple.

as for the wheels they are vw golf mk2 g60 steelies bought them brand new. (15x6j ET35) i'm using 195/4515 V Proxies T1R's which so far i rate high.

Thanks for a the comments made it worth while, lol i will keep you updated if it changes much lol

Few Pictures from work today, Got more done nearly there now few small things i want to do.

Done today:

Tracking
Setting ride height of coilovers
Stop Noise on the Front (N/S top mount)
Adjusted front anti Roll bar

wicked will have to let u know when im next in swindon, or mayb even pop up on thursday after work, what time would it all be there till?

got it running today, schoolboy error really, didnt start yesterday because...to what we found today...that we had accidentilly pulled the coil out of the starting motor when bolting the live onto it from underneath, so swapped for another one off my old engine, and sorted, shes running

quite proud tho, 1st engine swap i've done, although was the same engine as before lol

Ah we all do them but its working so thats the main thing yer its a good feeling

well i looked on the form today and it says 9.30 start so i'm guessing 4-5 stop should be good laugh.
