Price price price

I have plenty of space to use it round here, park at the end of the road etc.

I've got 2 now, great fun in the summer

Paid less than £100 for each second hand but spent a bit on parts on each since. I'd say get a basic one thats easy to work on first as you will need to strip bits down for repair/cleaning/general maintaince

Fair bit of rubbish said so far. A HPI Rush Evo is a aweful TRUCK (not buggy), breaks easily and can be bought in decent condition for less than £60.

Joe, I doubt you had a 70mph one, unless you spent near 1k on it.

Pow-what do you what to do with it? drive it about on your street or go to a park/trails? An on-road car is very limiting on where you can run it (more so if you want nitro). You can run an offroad car virtually anywhere.

video you might like, just so you know, its a HPI Rush Evo getting burnt 45secs in

Also on the video, when the nitro buggies are hitting the double ramp (on the thin road bit) they were doing approx 50mph, they are among the fastest nitro buggies around

I know its what the maker states, but you can never believe them, had a look on Youtube, and the only video showing it doing 73mph is CEN themselves. Many of the RC makers 'claim' these high top speeds but they rarely actually do it

Fair enough, to be honest. I'm not that bothered, was a waste of money anyway.

You can have a right laugh with them, some of the footage from that video was from a weekend meet, basically lots of banter, lots of killing RC's, beer, real car talk (and thrashing), good weekend really

£300

I think i paid £189 for mine brand new 3/4 years ago. So should be cheaper now. I broke mine. Use it for one weekend. Broke the throttle linkage tampering. Found a set on ebay, jus gonna get some fuel and new batteries and we should be good to go.

Saw the thread and thought i have one of them somewhere

I had some american shit. Cost like $500. Smashed it to bits about the second day i had it. Far to quick unless your on a massive track. Could never get top speed though, 3 speed box as too long.

Americans were claim hit a wall and 50 mph and it still drives. I rolled it turning around at walkin past...like balanced and then landed on its roof (cuz of a stone) and both suspension arms snapped off

Im not sure tbh It was bought about 3yrs ago possibly. I thought it was 200 for the buggy/truck whatever it is & a good bit more for the hand control thing, batteries/charger, fuel, glo starter thing & whatever else it came with.

Its brand new, if there sellinbg for £60 its not worth my climbing the loft to retrieve it!!
