I think I'm going to get this as my next watch. I really want to get myself a Rolex or a Tag or something but can't justify it just yet.

That looks like something my dad/grandad would wear.

I am after one but I am torn between a seamaster and the speedmaster
Absolutely love it, I must admit I had the same dilemma when I purchased it but in the end I chose it over the Seamaster as it was far less common.
The model I ended up settling on was the Speedmaster Day-Date

Not as fancy or 'slick' as some, but i like it.

build quality, I've had my TAG as my only watch for roughly 8~ years I reckon, had it serviced twice (once battery, once service+polish) and its done me well. Goes down 200 meters too

Half and half with tag, more name than quality.

I love them, and yip, people would buy a rolex before a name they'd never heard of.
I like the power reserve complication and that's the only one they do in 40mm, i'd have to try a 44mm one on to see how big it sat on my wrist, especially with the crown lock arrangement.
It'll be a while before I buy any of them though
