To COD4?
Don't blame you Danny, as Much as I'm looking forward to MW2 I'm really going to miss my Arisaka, actually any bolt for that matter.

I just prefer it overal Dan, I went to COD 4 the other day and it just doesnt feel as together to me, I love the new guns but i think the little tweaks and whatever implemented in 5 make it a more complete game.
Doesnt make COD 4 shite, it just improves and innovates on the already amazing brand and quality of 4

Be true to the g3 and use the stg44!!
I will also miss the semi auto and bolt action rifles, but I dont see many people using them on the consle.
It's all auto nubs, get raped on console if you try and use the rifles.

Luckily, we have alot of new maps on the PC to take advantage of the bolts, one of the best which I regulally play is brecourt, an old COD2 map.

Some news for the PC players...
quote: Extra! Extra!
This Just In:
We have some late breaking news for the PC owners of CoD:WW.
Sorry if I got you all excited there, I do not have any news as far as the release date for the DLC1 (map pack 1) for us PC owners of the game.
We have been informed though that the DLC1 will be packaged for us with the 1.4 patch. I am sure a lot of us will be happy to see that Treyarch is trying to fix some of the issues and glitches as quickly and efficiently as they can.
JD is quoted as saying that some of the issues that are being addressed with the 1.4 patch are:
• IWD / dedicated server anomalies (the people this effects will know what I mean by this)
• “Tank Lag” with logfile enabled
• Improvements to the MP spawn logic
• Autobalance functionality in various game modes
JD also had to say that, “A complete list of change will be posted when the patch releases. We are working as quickly as possible to get this patch and DLC out as soon as possible.”

Console gamers..
quote: Hi everyone!
So as you know, Map Pack 1 is releasing shortly (March 19th) or has already released depending on when you read this. With it, a new TU / Patch is being released for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.
We have been reading many of the suggestions in the community rgarding improvements to the game, and hope that you’ll find many of them in the list below. I think the most popular item in this list will be the improvements to the spawn system included in this TU =).
Items Addressed:
All rifle grenades fired during the first 15 seconds of Search & Destroy will be duds to prevent griefing in that game mode.
Improvements have been made to the global spawn system – players should never spawn within the line of sight of an enemy.
Players who equip the Bouncing Betty and melee teammates in Hardcore game modes are now credited with a team kill penalty.
Players are now deducted 200 points for team killing the bomb planter/defuser in Hardcore Search & Destroy.
Martyrdom no longer causes “direct impact” grenade deaths in Hardcore modes.
Players ranked higher than the maximum allowed in the Boot Camp playlist are no longer able to play in games with lower ranked friends in that playlist.
“Bayonet jumping” has been disabled.
Further improvements have been made to geographical matchmaking.
The “New” icon clears when a player has viewed an unlocked weapon (X360 only).
Many zombies were raised from the dead.
Hope to see you online, and enjoy the new updates and maps!
Regards,
-JD
