The Corsa is a nice motor Mike but I don't know how you've been able to go back to a Corsa after having an M3!

I think i might just chuck it on the rollers, and Nic i fully intend to put a LET in it ASAP, not being to safely overtake is depressing and scary

No i know the lad, where would i find the VIN on the engine block? and is there any way of telling if its a 1.4 or 1.6

I think it has the engine code stamped on the block somewhere iirc, like C16XE, X14XE etc..

look to the left of where the gearbox mates up to the block and theres a flat patch on the block can see the engine code on there.

Give it a service and get it on the rollers mike.
My x16xe with 4-2-1, de-cat and full system is abit quicker than my gf's zs so with an inlet you should be pulling away tbh.

No, it doesnt need a service, it runs sweet, no knocks taps ticks nothing, infact its the quietest and smoothest 16XE ive heard.

Its just to the right of cylinder 4 exhaust port.

yeah i can see the flat spot on the top of the block but cant see the numbers becuase the manifold is in the way

from what i have seen them go like standard zetec-s are sluggish for what they are.
