I'm unbelievably jealous of the jobs some people seem to have managed to get to with no knowledge on the subject at all.

Work on a service desk in a bank but deal with it security issues daily. There is a IT security department within the company which i work with closely.

I got a job in IT due to my years of experience plus a degree.

Fair enough you can flame me for this - my mistake. You live and learn. But like i said it can happen to anyone which is why i gave a warning to people on here. Dont be so up your own arse to say you would never fall for something like this... 9 times out of ten i probably wouldnt. Spare of the moment. Im just lucky i got the account back in time.

Mother fuck, nobody has added me on MSN but the other day someone had changed my password on MSN as I couldn't log in

I bet this was it, what purpose does it serve to get into my Hotmail account? Unless you want to see a load of spam email.

Twat.

This is stupid. If you don't want to be 'hacked' then take your email out of your profile. It serves no purpose whatsoever. If I wanted to add, for example, John to msn I would U2U him and tell him so. Then he could make the decision if he knows/likes me enough to give it to me.

I remember when Hotmail used to let you choose your own question, and then your own secret answer to it. Now there's 5 generic questions and I can't have witty personal answers for any of them. I think my current question is "What's your mums maiden name" and I've put my Girlfriend's mums instead. Not that it matters, because I don't have my email address in my profile.

to display your msn contact
to display your email address

not everyone logs into CS every day, but alot of people have msn/email on the move (mobile), which is very useful, so there is a purpose.

Also, the amount of people that fill out those quiz's on facebook and put really definative answers to questions "mothers maiden name, road you grew up on etc"....email address is ussually in the profile and you have pretty much every possible answer to get into their account. Absolute joke tbh !

Someone was adding people pretending to be mobby, it wouldn't be him asking you that.

My sisters mate recently had this happen to her for exactly this reason. They hacked and defaced the account and was abusive to every member on it. I noticed she had this on her account and let her know this is probably how it happened!
