the etch prime isnt to help the paint stick its more for protection purposes, it is used on the sides we make for nissan vans at work (only really good on ali), and we use app120 powder primer on the beds for nissan (mild steel), both of which give the powder a hell of a lot better protection against rust or flaking when painting shite metal etc
