Anyone hear on the radio this morning about the possible rise in fuel duty again? Or did I dream this?

Another 2p? It's not the fact it's fuel as I'm going through less than £20 a week now, it's the fact that the government are pushing green tax again in the middle of a recession.

Taking me around 25 minutes to do 4 miles, and with summer on the way i'd get a fair amount of use out of it.
My uncle says I can borrow his 125cc in the week when he uses his van for work, I could just book the CBT for £100 and give it a shot.
If I don't enjoy it then it's only £100 and at least i've tried it.
Could use it to go to kirstys if the weather is nice, pop to town etc etc

Governments are sly, if they want to bring something in they'll scare monger the population so they accept it.
E.g - People oppose a big brother society so the government spins it and uses Crime etc as an excuse for more cameras etc, as people start worrying they want more security so we got more CCTV cameras and starting to get chips in passports etc. Government is happy as they got what they set out to get, yet the population then start to moan about the big brother society which they are in turn helping to create.
Rant over
