And 321bhp are they not? Fecking love them but that one that Stu showed needs the standard wheels
Edit: In relation to the WR1.
Edit again: I should have really looked at what Stu said

I have a blobeye at the moment and would rate it as one of the best cars I have owned. Drives well, look good out of the box and can look great with some simple changes, very tunable and of course a great noise. Mine is white, which is a refreshing change from the Rally Blue which everyone else has.

a good mate of mine worked at a very good evo specialist local to me which included there rally team, evos aside they had alot of scoobie owners bring there cars in aswell and in general he said the running costs were about half compared to an evo, and the 4wd system needed frequent servicing as its a very complex system and if they go wrong(4wd) its mega £££££
in other words yuo can go just as fast in a scooby for less money, im sure this will upset alot of people who have driven neither but still say the evo is better but i will trust my mates judgment as he work there for over 2 years and he worked on/ got taken for a ride in many evos and scoobies in various tuning stages

If his was just a WRX then it probably wouldn't seem too hot, especially as there's a hell of a lot of cars hovering around the 200bhp mark now. Mine however was a 320bhp STI PPP and very fast Granted it wasn't 450bhp fast Mates dad has a 500bhp skyline and

I'd go for the TME. Blob eye Impreza's arent nice. Go for a later Impreza
yup, best thing said on here.
Type R's, ally bootlid, bonnet, roof, lighter glass, adjustable centre diff, lower ratio box, ic-spray,
Blob eye are the best looking scoobys!
MEGA MEGA cars when played with properley the type R's, a friend had one done several trackdays and it never missed a beat, handles immense too with the centre diff set all the way to the back.
if it was my i would try and push the cash up for a WR1 if you could, so nice. or evo 8.

I always sigh to myself when i see posts about Scoobys now
Steve from someone who has driven both mate...you need to drive both
Regardless of EVO's and Scoobys being compared to each other all these years they really are totally different cars in a lot of ways.
I've driven a 260 standard EVO and a 400bhp FQ and hated both..felt cheap/never sounded nice and just left me frustrated..got in my classic scooby to drive home and instantly felt comfortable
