Breaks up dirt, allows for it to rinse off more than with a sponge.

I picture it to be a bit like soaking a saucepan or something, before washing it.

I see, I was going to invest in one as they are quite good for just rinsing with out using a sponge, but if I use a sponge as well I will have super clean car

Just looked out the window at dads car sat in the sun, and tbf its actually rather shiney

All i did was cover it about 10 times and wash it off but you know Quite impressed with that.
