cheers mate, would be good lol. well the noise did start happening when the new pump was put in (2nd hand item) but when we changed the filter today it didnt make the noise. but still ran shit, but didnt cut out atall.
just can't think of anything else to try

the 'whining noise' youre talking about. is it when the car has been started from cold and goes once the car has warmend up a bit? if it is my car does the same thing and i just thought it was something to do with the automatic choke?

the car not chucking up any codes? And you said you've changed the cts and lambda... Vacume hose for the map sensor all ok? Im getting a little stumped.. Could possibly be fuel pump but wouldn't want to say that till the last thing.

the cts and lambda were put on new before we got it. but mayb worth trying some different ones. haven't checked the map hose. we changed the fuel pump for one we brought off of here. sop dont know whether its worth chucking the old one on see what happens?

yea, came up with fuel pump and crank shaft sensor. changed those already

put the cts off your other engine in it, and the lambda, then disconnect the battery for a hour and see what it does.. Will clear the codes stored, and will put the ecu into a form of learning mode that just checks everything is working right and does some quick set ups.. Then check codes again.. But dont forget to check the fuel tank vent valve hoses (side of inlet manifold 2 pipes into black box with red tab on connector) and the map sensor hope for perishing..
