I went last night. Very flat performance, and I think half the squad had their eye on the weekends fixtures.
Too many simple passes were intercepted too - too relaxed.
Good night in hospitality though. Free beer and food.

Big Crouch is a hero, still doesn't get the credit he deserves. He should be playing every game, adds another dimension and guarantees you goals.

Only draw back is the endless amount of long balls from the back. Gets a bit tiresome, especially when it takes quite a few for one to work.

Especially when he hates it when the supply to him is just smacked up field - he isnt that sort of player.

Was a good goal by Crouch. Didn't realsie his goal ratio is so good for England too.

His close control and floor work is as good as his ariel efforts imo.
His height is always the focus of attention, and overlooks his other qualities.

His control and floor work is far far better than his heading ability... except against Everton

Exactly.

People seem to think due to his height that he is great at heading the ball and a punt upfield or a load of crosses are what he wants - but tbh he is cack at heading!!
