Stuck a fiver on a liverpool bayern double. Barca could send their basket ball team to Germany and still go through and I fancy Liverpool to win 2 nil at the bridge in one of those glorious failures

Why would you put a £5 on Bayern to get anything

Us to overturn Chelsea is one thing, Bayern to overturn a 4-0 defeat is another!

You excited?

I expected him to start considering he was on the bench at the weekend.

Excited isnt really the word! I know we could do it if we play as well as we can, but the chances of us doing that are slim.

Risking him would be foolish IMO. You don't have to put all your eggs in this basket. Had you been out of the title race I reckon he might have featured.

Most certainly would of played him if we were out the PL race.

Think its stupid not having him on the bench though. What if we are 2-0 up with 20mins to go, throw Gerrard on then. If we are only 1 up or some other result then leave him on bench.

I had a feeling this was the case though, as Rafa always does it.

Instead of playing someone semi-fit for the first 60mins and then taking them off when knackered he'll bring them on for the last 30, when it could be too late.

If Im too fat then you'd need a squad bigger than the one United have used to carry you.

Not enough strength in depth is the world to carry you.

Maybe he did some training and tweaked something? Who knows, but either way I think Liverpool will leave gaps tonight and Chelsea will counter.

2-2 is a big controversial prediction from me.

Have been reading that he only managed about 15mins of training last night so more than likely he just isnt fit enough to play at all.

We've got a break now until the next game so worth resting him so is properly fit, especially with Arsenal coming up.

If you haven't already i'd back the scousers for the league

They have a pretty easy run in and can't see them dropping any points, the arsenal game will be just after them playing in the cup so best time to play them

Rio needs to steady the defence tomorrow to have any chance of winning the league. And them dropping gary neville and playing anyone, even me ffs

Chelski only conceded 3 after taking off Drogba and Lampard. SSN seem to forget that when doing the build up to this game

Routing Madrid was hardly low-energy Robob.
