have you considered omega? 3k will get you a decent 2002ish elite (most elites have full service due to them being owned by slightly posh(no offence to anyone, i have one) people from new) 2.5dti is a pretty decent stiright 6 engine.

90k isn't a lot of mileage for these engines.

Bit far away though.

425 miles away ha.

We have seen a 2.2 sri 2003 with under 70k miles on it.

But we are unsure of the colour - it's champagne silver.

Or there is a grey one with 77,000 miles for under the £3000 also.

And she has just been driven away.

Although I feel more excitement than sadness at the thought of a new car

That colours Panacotta, same as guy at ma work.. One of the best Vauxhall colours and pretty rare aswell. Better than all the Ultra Blues and Blacks going about..

Yeah plates still on it for the moment, DVLA better not take forever.

Would ideally like to spend as little as pos. The more we spend on a car is less we have for house!

This is the one we're unsure about. It's not too far away so might go see what the colour looks like in real life.

Funny silver colour

Don't buy a 2.2 DTI. Old tech. Try and get yourself a 1.9cdti SRI 150.

Ill second that, The Vaux V6 engine isnt a bad one at all. Fairly reliable, plenty of grunt and sounds nice too. Better than most other marques attempt at an NA V6 engine of the era.

If price is a limiting factor, But you know a 2.2 vectra will be shit and you really want a diesel but just cant afford one... Why settle for a 2.2 vectra if its not actually what you want?

You CAN get a decent CDTi for under 4k, Dont be a mileage whore as most of the mileage on a vectra will be motorway miles, plus new cars will piss 200k now so why people are still mileage whores and seem to think cars fall aprat at 100k is beyond me.

Either get a small loan to buy the car you actually want and is recommended, or look elsewhere.

What a bout a MK4 golf tdi, bora, A3, A4, mondeo, 3 series etc theres loads of good cars out there for 3k without it having to be a vectra.
