I was in the players lounge/box for the Man United vs Liverpool game when Cantona made his return. My brother was the mascot! Christ thats a long time ago, 1995

People within your age band: glory hunters will only pick a team winning at that time. hence Man-U being the best through 90's.
Same with the kids growing up in the 80s - Liverpool, Forest in late 70's and Wolves in the 50's.
suppose the majority of utd fans dont even live in manchester though

Gotta love the glory supporting. BTW Will in the top 5 football teams thread you listed Liverpool as your 2nd favourite team, one of the biggest rivalries in football and you "support" both clearly know fuck all about football.

Exactly what I was going to say When they were at their peak I do really like watching Man Utd play, and I do hope they win the title. But it's far from over and at this moment in time they certainly don't look as good as the teams chasing them!

I support Corinthians, was born and raised literally 120 metres from their stadium in Sao Paolo, I live in the UK and even I've been to see them live more times since January than will doyle has seen Man Utd at OT in his entire life!
He's not a fan, he says he is, but it's not reality.

Congratulations on being a mathematical genius Last nights result makes very little difference at the present time. This time yesterday if United lost two games and Liverpool won all their remaining fixtures Liverpool would be Premiership Champions and today the same would be true unless we make up the goal difference. We've still got to play Arsenal at home, Man City at home and also Middlesbrough and Hull (both of who are fighting for premiership survival) away. It is far from over please don't make us all look like idiots!

Spurs H
Midds A
City H
Wigan A
Arsenal H
Hull A
Those 4 games are the ones Im hoping for. Spurs arent a bad side when they want to be, so really depends which one turns up. Midds are fighting for survival and hopefully wont be down by then. And obviously City is a derby game.
Im not sure how this Arsenal game falls in terms of the CL semi finals. If its before or between them then I expect an Arsenal youth team. If its after and Arsenal are out then they'll go for the win, if they are in the final then its another youth team!

In a good position after these mid week games, but have been in a better position only a month ago and almost let it all slip then.
IMO need to hammer a team to really make it safer so that we have a better goal difference than liverpool. Extra point as it were could prove vital.

The arsenal game will be after the 2nd leg I think. If tottenham or city do us a favour then i'll die of nervs.

What a cock you are posting a thread like this when we aren't playing well and have 6 games left. Including a derby game and an in form arsneal team. And two teams fighting for their lives.
It certainly isn't over yet
