Not that its nessecarily the "best" in terms of how it has benefitted humanity, but IMO you cant get much more fucking ace than strapping a metal tin to a giant firework and saying your off to walk on another Planet/Moon.

I know what you're saying but not quite. It was the electrons that were discovered and then to make them move was the invention of electricity.
