You can't be that picky if you have settled for shitty UK holidays for so long!
I do know what you mean though, I get bored sunbathing mixed with sight seeing for anything longer than a week so I tend to go to Ibiza but i'm into house music and know the island very well and have friends that work out there every year which helps loads.
It is a very beautiful island and the climate is spot on. I reckon it will be a no go tho with the state of the euro as it was expensive as when the rates were good though. My missus has bod on as she still wants to go but I know it is a bad idea, but i don't want to go on holiday and be bored shitless anywhere else, unless with other couples etc.

Carl - Ibiza was scandalously expensive when you got 1.40 Euro to your £. Now its practically 1 for 1 it will be amazingly expensive.
I remember paying 14 Euros for a bottle of beer in one of the clubs one year. That worked out at just over a £10 a drink. Now it's even worse...£14 a drink!

I dont see how you can say all my uk hols have been shit?
I live in newcastle and have been down cornwall last 2 years, was around 20c both times and had a great holiday. Loads to see and do.
Abroad hasnt really offered me anything i cant get here really. People who cant speak english, dodgy food, scary locals, theifs, expensive drinks. All wales needs is a bit of sun and it will be up there with the rest of them.

Exactly, my other arguement with her is i've got shit hot memories of all the places, I don't want to go spoiling them. Atmosphere just isn't the same when everyone is off their head on ket.
