I drove a Coupe Turbo when they first come out and I was well impressed

Handling is spot on, hardly any Turbo lag.

MatG,
I've been thinking of taking ur car, saw it on A-S.co.uk. but dad says it will be way too much to insure (looking for the 1.8).

and again too higher milage looking for about 30k.

but very nice car, if only it was a 1.8

Same as above it's a nice car, but the mileage puts me off.

I've got a 2.2 Coupe SE1, pic here - http://www.corsasport.co.uk/owners/ian/astra1.jpg - fantastic car. Europa Blue is the best colour as well. Its for sale at £11000 if you know anyone 18k, FVSH, I'll be very sad to see it go.

over the new top gear series i've found him to be a bit of a jerk.
he slates off his audiences when he can't argue back properly. (not that bad i guess)

but he slates anything vauxhall.

Its only group 12 insurance, and the only difference between SE1 and 2 is trip computer I think. Other than that they're identical.

I have only just started looking at the SE1 and SE2 so may be you are the one to ask about them seeing as though you have got one

I was looking at the SE2 today and that has got 17" alloys, rear spoiler, traction control, Leather + blue alcantara interior.

Does the SE1 have all of that Inc the Leather, and blue alcantara interior?

Yeah it may only be a group 12 compared to the group 9 on the 1.8, but that difference is going to take my insurance from £1121 fully comp to £5040

Yes the interior is identical except mine doesn't have side airbags.
