imo.
It all depends on what Tevez wants really, does he want to be possibly challenging in the future, or does he wanna go to a top 4 team now? Or if Joorabchin gets the cash, would he have much choice anyway?
If City get 1 or 2 of their targets then it'll convince other players that there's a future there, and in the long-mid-term they may be challenging for Champs league. and therefore they'd be able to get better players in, advance quicker etc...

Also, would love to see Silva in the prem, and Liverpool would be the obvious choice with the spanish connection etc.
Could mean Villa staying at Valencia, i'd guess they'd only need to sell one of the two to get themselves sorted financially again

I'd liked to keep Tevez. But not looking likely.

We've agreed a £4m fee (not bad considering he was on a free) if they get into the CL. They are in qualification place at the moment. We agreed a £1m deal for Hobbs a few weeks ago too so thats where the extra £5m comes from. Sure we'll raise some more too with youth and fringe sales.

I used to like Arsenal, then their fans and players turned into utter knobs. Having a go at any team who didnt pass the ball 1000 times before knocking it into an open net as all 11 opposition players (and most likely all the subs and manager) lay in a dizzy bedazzled state on the floor, amazed at their passing prowess. Their fans shouting 'hooooof' if an oppositon player dared pass the ball more than 3yards or if they didnt play in triangles.
I could of changed my opinion if they'd of even shown a little bit of fight against United in the last 3 games against them, but no, not a sign of it.

I would not be upset if we got new owners in at Liverpool. Gillett and Hicks are parasites and killing our great club.

jonny, do you go to leeds matches?
only reason i ask is that the Leeds games that have been on sky recently, delph was barely average let alone premiership quality.
Has he just had bad performances in the TV games? I assume for prem teams to be interested he must be pretty good normally?

do u think a top class forward will be happy to sit on the bench? also where does mascherano fit into the midfield if you where to land barry?
i think babel has a tough decision to make, maybe in another country he would be a star, but in the prem he does little when he starts, but IMO he has such an impact when introduced from the bench especially when u in front and teams are pressing, but is it good enough? i dont think it is

i think we need a good quality right back (steven taylor the toon go down) and a quality striker to go with the yak as saha cant yet prove he is fit enough, im unsure but would possibly like a left sided player too, think pienaar has done well for us this year but maybe someone like ledley or downing if boro go down (prob end up at spurs though) also unsure of fellaini so maybe he will go for moutinho

I think we will go down but doubt Taylor would leave especially if Shearer stays on.
Haven't got a clue who we're likely to bring in but I expect a big clearout if/when we go down - Owen, Collicini, Barton, Smith,
I'd hate to see us go down but think it could be just what we need in terms of rebuilding

Depends on the forward. Rafa may well change the formation to fit the right player in.
Its more Alonso's position that would be under thread if we signed Barry. Personally would rather we didnt but looks like we will.
