In South London Clapham, Balahm, Wandsworth, Battersea nice areas but you will pay a premium to live there.

In North London, places like West Hamstead Finchley etc are quite nice also.

I'd like to live in London for a while without a car just to say I've done, but the only places I would live are in postcodes where I couldnt afford it in my dreams

If you work in the city i deffo would trial living there as comuting on the trains sucks balls however the upside is you see an amazing about of talent in the mornings

Same

Love going down there for the footie, have a right good session, but it all seems a bit hectic, and Londoners are ignorant as fuck which pisses me right off.

Northen life FTW.

I also agree with this. I prefer the pace of life and the way things are in Liverpool than in London.

chip on shoulder much

I know loads of people who commute into Norwich, Bristol, Brighton etc, its not just limited to working in London. What you need to remember is 'The City' as in, the City of London is a small area of central London where alot of people work. Alot of people commute to London and not work in the square mile

I hate London with a passion, I hate it when my mates want to go there on the weekend for clubbing and I've had to COMMUTE there 5 times a week. Where I live on the Essex/Hertfordshire boarder is the perfect balance imo, 30 minute train into Liverpool Street station for all the hussle and money but I'm surrounded in fields and peace.

Yep, one gigantic chip. Covered in gravy

I'm northern, it's the law that we have to moan about the south

London is an easy target as it's a bit cocky about it's own image. Same as Leeds, no one likes Leeds unless you happen to live there (or DRIVE TO WORK there)

Leeds didn't used to be too bad until the last 10 or so years when its been "modernised" and everyone started living in them city centre appartments.

Now everyone who lives in such appartments thinks they are better than everyone else becuase they have City Living. When in actual reality they are getting arse rapped on everything, and could have bought a nice 3 bed-semi on the outskirts for the same price

Yeah about 10 mins in the car from Lewisham.

Cool - my best mate lives there.. was up there last weekend. I think we drove through black heath

Is there a massive field and duck pond one end of black heath, with a nice pub overlooking the field? etc

Yeah the massive field will be Blackheath Common. I think there is a pond at one end but never seen any ducks in it. Loads of nice pubs around the common which are perfect for Sunday afternoon sessions whilst sitting in the sun.

The hustle and bustle of Liverpool is nothing compared to the hustle and bustle of London.

I like Manchester too.
