Does anyone know what power the skyline turbo'd one is running?

A mate of mine said it was around 500bhp, I said that must be bullsh!t as it would make it one of the quickest in the contry and its not that well known

can anyone clearup what exactly is a 'skyline' turbo.

a standard turbo'd GTR (twin turbos) will prob blow them apart at 450bhp. Thats with BOTH turbos on a 2600cc engine. So.... using your potnoodle 1 turbo should only really be good for 225'ish....

Unless it was a turbo from a 34 GTR, or a modified R32/33 one using the std housing (t25 flange) its not going to be anywhere above 300hp. Even they they'll still be limited and not in the regions of a big GT35 whatever

But surely because it was from a Skyline it will have about 1000bhp because a Skyline in The Fast and The Furious is the quickest car??

All I know is that it has a skyline turbo, if that means he's taken a standard one, or knicked an uprated one I don't know. I seriously doubt the power figure the guys said

mine made 507bhp on one run with 458lb/ft. it usually just spins out the rollers once it gets over 480bhp for some reason though. there is more mapping to be done at some point when bigger fuel pumps are sorted. for now its trying to make it grip as its pretty shocking until nearly the end of 3rd gear.

i dont use nos and dont plan to.

phils reportedly made over 600 with nos, not sure what the jets were or what it made without the gas. im sure the fella that did mobby's 1.8 conversion originally has the engine from phils in his, so be good if he could let us know what it did make or does make now is im quite interested to know.
