I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth out in january. I was pooping myself about it all after reading different stories about it.

I went hospital in the morning, was out at 6 at night, had tablets and a mouthwash to keep the holes clean and next day i felt a big groggy but no serious swelling, and eating wasnt too bad either (make sure its not too hot or cold though!) and i was back at work the day after that.

Im sure you will be fine, just remember people always write about horror stories but nobody will if nothing out of the ordinary happened.
