Think i'll give this a bash.
Just did the initial test and managed 19.
I'm in work out mode now, I cycle 50> miles a week currently and i've taken up skipping too.
Fucking hell, just since typing this my shoulders have started to feel the burn!

ok i managed 57 for the test which i dont think is bad. 100 should be easy to train for but ive got other muscle groups to train aswell!

Anyone who cracks 100 has to post video evidence, and they have to have a close up shot on the 100th push up to get the facials in!

Good to see more of you trying it out, will keep the thread at the top and will make sure I dont forget about it
EDIT - Just done Day 1 now. Managed to get to 20 on my "max" at the end, had to really push myself though. Really fell over when I stood up an all due to the head rush

Holy fuck I was thinking this was going to be a piece of piss, used to do plenty of sets 10-20 when I was training for thai boxing, have been away from it for three months or so and just done golf and fives and I'm a pussy
I'm getting back in the gym, never realised how much of a sap I had become recently!

i had a go at this when i saw the site a couple of months back, i usually range between 70-80 in one set, 60+ requires a couple of seconds breath between each 10, still in the press up position. Id say its more about endurance than strengh as i weigh 60kg and bench 100kg but can't get past 80.

You have shattered my dreams, I always though Captain Obvious would be able to do 100 easy.

Done the 2nd day before a shower there, the last 12 were absolute killers, it's also using some muscles in my stomach that I don't seem to have used before

Day 2
rest 90 seconds between each SET (longer if required)
set 1 20
set 2 25
set 3 15
set 4 15
set 5 max (at least 12) max (at least 19) max (at least
I failed big time, didn't even make it until the max set at the end, think i managed 11 on the fourth set! Blaming the fact I was hungry. Think i'll be doing this wk3 again in the second week. I assume that is what you do if you are towing your bollocks off?!

Amen to that, this lot are frickin' pussies.
It's actually easier that way once your knuckles have gotten used to it, there is less stress on your wrist.
So people who do it that way are the fannies not vice versa

I think you failed to detect my sarcastic remark there Moe, however you are right, the guiders in the forearm are not stretched when doing them on your knuckles, it's easier to have hard skin on the knuckles than stretching the forearm muscles and tendons when you rely on them to push you up and down 100 times.
