TBH mega suprised someone can say something like that, I feel in love with them when i drove the old monaro 6.0 it just pulls like a train and even the traction control knows exactly how much fun to let you have.

Honestly one of the best cars ive driven

Finding a suitable gear box would be a small issue

Power to weigh gets you off the line quickly and in and out of bends quicker but once your moving above a certain speed it has much less of an effect!

My car doesn't even make 300bhp per tonne but Im sure a 300bhp LET wouldn't be able to keep up!

Give me fuck-off massive RWD super barge anyday.. Men steer with the rear not like oversteer like a queer.

dont get me wrong rwd is the only way for a track car thats why i have the mr2.
i just was really really disapointed in the vxr8, it was so heavy that even with the massive brakes you strugeled to stop the thing for the first hairpin at rockingham. then theres the electronics that snap in too hard and too early.
it wouldn't over steer at all unless you drove like a twonk and just chucked into a corner, ok in second gear out of the hairpin it wold slide a little but once in third it had more grip at the rear than it did power.

Am i missing the point here? Since when did a 1.8 Corsa become a real mans car?

my mr2 is my track car because it was cheap really. so far the whole car tweaked and prepped for the track has cost only a little more than blowing an engine up on the saab.
also i really dont believe you can use your road car for the track theres just too many compromises to be made, and you cant drive at 100% then which is no fun.
whats engine size got to do with anything anyhow my mr2 is only a 1.6!

I've never professed it to be a MANS car, I'm fully aware that it is a gay-wheel-drive scuffle-bus..

Its the first FWD car I have owned for 9 years and will probably be the last.
