Honestly, dont bother, my friend made a makeshift backbox for his 1.2 16v corsa C from a piece of flexi pipe and a halfrauds pipe trim and it sounded gash

big difference mines a 14xe... wont be flexy piped at all, would use the pipes from the standard back box and have my mate weld in the bridging piece, i know its gona be a bit crappy but i want to remove the daft back box or i might get meself a 2" backbox... want the standard sport trim tho never mind.. looks like more money lol

Why dont you just take the pipe outta the backbox and seal the holes up?

because have you ever taken a bac box apart?

they have really poor metal in them, and there are 2 pipes not just one, thats the bit thats the restriction in the back box unlike the center section that has one continues pipe running through it

might just get a 2" back box made up..

most of them on the market now sound propper shitty. i have got a s/s system in the loft but its got a 3.5" bck box so looks kinda shitty

It aint that loud, still got center silencer

+ You hardly have a fast car yourself...

Hence the fact that my daily driver is very quiet and in-offensive. Bear in mind that I live in a place where apparently it's acceptable to drive around in 1.2 Corsa's with no silencers at 2am which wake me up and also the fact that I have a 2.0 Corsa which is in fact rather fast.
