Ferguson almost ALWAYS sells at the correct time. £80 million represents good business although replacing him will be nearly impossible, there's no player in the world that has all the attributes that he does.

I agree.
I remember when they let Ince, Kanchelskis & Hughes go a good few years ago and everyone thought he was barmy. Never really did them any harm in the long run.
Also when Beckham left, he replaced him with a much cheaper (and relativley unknown) Ronaldo who in turn has been a major factor in Utds success of late.
Ronanldo has dissapeared up his own arse IMO. The fact he was trying to win the CL final on his own showed this. His attitude is pathetic, and he spends half the games moaning at the ref or throwing him sen on't floor.
Fergie will have a plan of what to do next mark my words.

Some of the kids will be seeing this as their chance to really step up to the first team too, notably Welbeck and Macheda.

He'd need £160 million to buy Aiden.

I reckon he has his eye on Ribery, he's just about the only winger that will give you the same creative and goal threat and looks like he's just coming into his best years.

Doubt we'll buy him.
Valencia seems a more likely purchase

Funny all the Manc scum acting like they are not bothered he is leaving. He probably thinks Real are a bigger club in less financial trouble.

He hasn't wanted to be at united for at least a year now, 80 million for him is a bloody good deal for utd.
I agree that they should go for Ribery, would like to see him in the prem. Will be interesting to see what happens for the rest of the summer with Utd having a bit of cash now.

10 reasons I recon he moved
1. getting paid more
2. Madrid better than manure as a football club
3. better weather sunshine all year round
4. Spanish girls hotter than English
5. better quality players to play with
6. speaks the language
7. doesn't have to listen to the Scottish drunk anymore
8. Madrid better place to live than Manchester
9. people drive on the correct side of the road
10. re-union of his best pal 'pepe'

The only ones that are even close to being true are: 1, 3, 6, and I suppose 10.

Thing is though, not all Uniteds first teams are what i'd class being "World Class"
Fletcher, Park, O'Shea, there are loads of players out there better than those 3 in the respective positions, but Fergie has a knack of getting the best of out players and bedding them around other superstars to create a great ethic. It's alright having 11 superstars out there (Real Madrid) but unless they combine and click then they wont win much.
If Valencia does come in, then i'm sure he will improve greatly playing at United and could be another great buy for them. Not many people will have heard of Ronaldo when he first went to United, but look at him now......
