Pretty damn good cars, my 1.4 mind can keep up with alot of faster cars. I've not actually driven a 1.8 C, but i've driven a mk5 astra 1.8 (I have no idea if it's the exact same engine) and that was pretty damn fast by my standards.
Get one and turbo it

well both the B and C 1.4 SRi's have 88bhp and do 0-60 in 10.5 seconds apparently... its going to feel a damn sight faster than a 1.2 8v lol

I find the 1.4 nippy for what I use it for... nipping around town and the odd motorway drive. I'd prefer the 1.8 but the 1.4 does me just fine.

I've driven a clio, and I'm not going to lie it was lovely to drive, the only thing that put me off was I think the one I drove had a knackered clutch, couldn't reverse it for love nor money lol, but they do drive well. In fact I wanted one before I got into corsa's.
I've not been getting good mpg out of mine but I think there is underlying problems that mine is in the garage for now. That combined with a good service should see me right!

Corsa c 1.8, my had had one, fairly quick cars, only thing with them is they dont really look anything special, same as the 1.4.
Tax will set you back around £250 a year now and petrol costs will be a hell of alot higher then ur current car.
1.4, a twinport will get you tax for around £130 a year i think and petrol is better then the 1.2.

came and take mine away for sub 4k, you wont find one with the definative list of cliosport "must do" mod on it, or the fact its had every bit of servicing youd need allready done

I've been looking into 1.8 C's for next year, there's a nice looking SXi+ on AT nearish to me, 55 plate, 22k miles, £3100
Has to be black for me, red ones look really nice but my mum and dad have red cars so it'd look too weird Plus I prefer the black ones.
Iirc it's 9 secs to 60 for the 1.8 C, so a fair bit better than both our cars
Numberwang!
