Old 256mm Setup (After upgrading from 236mm);
Standard Issue Old & New Comparison 256-292mm;
All fitted;
Wheel on (It fits!);
Oh. Hang on;
Bollocks. Its just touching;
Double Bollocks;
Still, tidy looking setup, straight easy fit with no hassle atall - think the braking effort may be biased to the front a tad though...;
So... Contingency plan for clearing the brakes is underway - watch this space!

Well.
Sorted out the clearance issue today.
The solution?
16" Team Dynamics Motorsport Alloys
Also, being a different Offset, they stick out a bit more, which gives it a slightly wider stance/track - might improve the handling a little...
And it looks like I'll keep them white, it just 'works' IMO.
It does mean bye bye to the Cav wheels though...

handling will be worse, bigger wheels and wrong offset...
mine drove soo mucb better on proper offset, than the wrong offset

Got home and it was still light, so out I went armed with a big Flat Screwdriver and a Mallet...
Didn't get it all done as light faded fast, but took out a good couple of kilos worth so far and bagged it up...
Will have a fair bit more to chip off once the Carpet comes out too!
Before;
After;

I need them brakes!
Dont suppose you could e-mail the person you bought them off on ebay asking where he got them?
I would have ground the caliper down slightly and kept the old wheels!

More gumph removed...
All the bonded Deadening from the rear floor, and spare wheel well.
Also removed the 15" Spare, ready to go with the other 4
Bagged up the deadening and chucked it on the scales - 3Kg... Every little helps...
But, after having up the Spare Wheel well deadening, found I need to get some Kurust out before I give everything a quick spray
Then, had the majority of the Front Doorcards off - will be having the pockets off permanently once I sort some Alloy/Carbon sheet for the Doors instead
Thats it for today, might get out and do some more tomorrow...

Yep,
Well, tomorrow.
Erm, in desription though, they use the same mountings as the OE Belt System - 1x Base of B Pillar, 1x Subframe in place of OE Belt Catch Mounting Bolt

looks well mate, prefered the cesaros though TBH. Could you not take a tiny amount off the back of the caliper to make them fit?? Would look better as they would be a snug fit!

Had to pick up some stuff from the Horse Yard at home we have just moved out of, and thought it would be the ideal opportunity to get some pictures of the wheels at a distance, as I think it shows how the White on White suits the car better than the Orange, and I haven't had any pics of the car now without it being up close.
Also, the Splitter I'm not sure on seems to work better with White Wheels - doesn't look as out of place IMO, so it may end up staying now...
I was aiming to get all the Bilstein gear on and the Quickshift this week, but SWMBO getting booted by a Neddy in her Giblets area on Xmas Eve has put that out of the window as she can't walk properly etc, so needs looking after... Oh well!
