Was talkin to a bloke off a message board "Cruize south wales" or something, And i asked him how the 1700TD fits in, and he said it drops in
He went on to say "We had that Nova spinning in every gear appart from 5th, would eat the GTE/GSI/SR/SRi etc etc"
So i might get myself a 1.7

1500 and 1700 look externally identical, only insides which are different, so unless they take the engine to bits and measure it the insurance wouldnt need to know either

Yes so I have seen, using a egg timer to count the time to 60.
Very accurate.
And remember, his 65bhp Nova TD will be as quick as my 140bhp 147 lb/ft of torque Punto GT.
