It takes a lot of work to get a turbo to run its max, its not just slap it on and you get an instant 550bhp

Just think, if you bought it you could make half the money back by selling all the bodykit, exhausts, bonnet wheels interior etc and buying cheap standard replacments and a nice set of wheels

yes i realise that but its a very poor result for a turbo of that size ie you would choose a gt3071r at max for that power output and its realy not suited to anly less than 400bhp. plus it wont come on boost until about 4000rpm!
looking at it its got a tubular manifold and what not so its not just bolted onto the old manifold. the biggest concern is that its only got a 2,1/2" exhaust system at 350bhp thats going to be a restriction! who ever put that setup together has mad a right miss match.

in all honesty, the biggesr restriction to it is the motronic with evo 5 chips. they are rated at around 300bhp.

but somepeople seem to think mappable ecu's and mapping is like voodoo and costs a fortune etc. whereas it doesnt really.

if you think about the car itself, im not really sure as an over all package that its all about power is it? maybe its a show thing. fair play really.

cant remember reading about internal mods. maybe thats the reason?
