Have heard about it doing this noise when one of the shockers are loose, theres a big nut that holds the shock into the strut, it can come loose and cause the shock to knock.

Its french bud, could be anything

15" pro races look tiny on saxo. 16's are your best bet for looks and handling.

Right ebay bits turned up today

So got rid of my speed hole

Colour match isnt quite right. Came from an 02 silver vtr so there must be some variations. Looks better then a hole though

Got rid of the badly colour coded grille

Worth the £15 for the OEM clean look

Been missing the radio due to my ariel been swiped. Looks like an RC car again

So all thats left now is to sort the wheels plus some new plates and it will be looking tip top

Yer the grille was on my mind when I was driving it home it looked horrendus £15 well spent imo

Hopefully the wheels will turn out alright. Wont be 100% but this is a cheap project and they looked horrid before with all the bubbles and chips.

Gez yer I am booking my tickets once my cheque has cleared

Right they are finished. They are by no means perfect but alot better then before. Not too bad for £20 of rattle can

Before

After

Im not sure on the colour though as I think they make the car look higher as they look smaller

Also found some garish yellow paint in the shed that matched the vts badges so I did the calipers. But I am again not sure on this

Considering how it looks now I am considering lowering it a little more as I think that would make it look spot on. BUT I dont want to mess up the handling. Its on 35mm bilstien shocks and springs and drives a treat. Would some 50mm springs kill it?

Looks good that. Im going to do my GSi wheels that colour with a red lip. See what you mean that it looks high tho. 50mm should be fine

You havent seen them close up

although for the sake of £20 and some effort they look alot better then before

What do you reckon on lowering it more? Will that knacker the handling?

On flat ground it looks pretty high, on your drive really low, is that the case when there in person?

what springs are on the front at the minute?

35mm bilstiens that match the front and rear shocks. Looks fairly high in person. Think its the colour of the wheels as it looked alright before

Thats the problems with dark wheels. Needs to be low to pull them off as good. Example....

I'd get it lowered then, torsion bars on the back same as pugs isnt it? I'd lower the back until it sits as high as the wheel, maybe go for 50's on the front.
