Marketing, PR and Lead Generation for a storage solutions company. There is a team of 2 of us, one solely doing telemarketing then me doing bits and bobs inbetween. Such a great opportunity to have responsibility at a young age etc!

personally wish ild never of gone to Uni at the moment.
Lack of graduate jobs and hardly any within my work area/location. And the lack of jobs that are out there need tons of experience or are pure crap.
Considering taking a step back into an apprentiship and working up or going back to do a 2years profesional masters degree.
Congrats with the 1st and job deano!

it's apparently meant to be one of the worse years to graduate with there being naff all jobs about, not sure how true that is in ever industry, certainly the tv/film/music industry is pretty cack at the moment.
Any jobs (mostly freelance) i have found (sound engineering etc) require you to be within the M25 area and rental prices within the M25 are top dollar

I'm heading back to uni in September for year 5 of my course, after 2 years working I don't particularly want to as I'm enjoying working but got to get it done sooner or later. Staying on part-time working.

Dom - I'm working Stevenage.
It's pretty tough this year for Graduates, but it is every where. If you do everything by the book like I have i.e. right education path, right degree and work experience you should be ok. Still harder than 3 years ago though.
We are also the first year graduating with double debt due to the top up fees etc.

Managed to find myself a job, even with a 2:2 - starting shortly.
Paying £26k straight out of Uni, surely this is a mistake? I'm not worth 1/4 that

I graduated my Spanish degree with a 2.1 with honours. For the Spanish language core module though I got a very good 1st , and as far as I know it was the best grade in the year :geek: Immediate plans are/have been finishing off the work on the house here in Aberystywth ready to rent it out next year, probably with the plan of selling it the year after, and ive also been doing anothert big pond project. After that though, I think im gonna move to the South East and start looking for work, either part time and do a 1 year masters in translation studies (I really want to become a professional translator), or something more permanent. The job hunt will be starting the week after next really, after graduation and moving away from Aberystwyth back to my parents place in Hereford for a few weeks as a stop gap!

I got a 2:1 Masters in Mechanical Engineering so was happy with my result, and managed to get a job from the only one I applied for, working in the Defence sector on a very decent starting wage with great benefits and pension scheme
