I'd go with Ronaldo, when he first went to Barca he was absolutely unstoppable

IN MY OPINION!!!

In no order:

Rudd van Nistelrooy - Lazy fuck but the figures don't lie!
Tierry Henry
Robbie Fowler - Back in the day
Mark Hughes
Andrew Cole
Dwight Yorke
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer
Ronaldo
Gary Lineker

Loads more but can't think.

Why don't we all just list every decent striker from the last 20 years, that should clear up who we think is THE best

We need a poll.

Dwight Yorke had 2 decent seasons at United, after that he was pretty average.

I wouldn't include him but the rest I agree with.

Even ignoring the bias, Thierry Henry

He has won everything there is to win

Premier League x2
La Liga
European Cup (once a loser also)
FA Cup x3 (?)
King's Cup
European Championships
World Cup (once a loser also)

PLUS 186 goals for Arsenal in 6/7 years, a shedload for France and he is still going strong at Barca

Shearer for me. Consistently performed even in average teams.

Goalscorer i'd go for Shearer, but would probably go for Henry or the Dennis the Iceberg for their all round striker play.

I'd have to say Shearer. He most certainly wasn't a quick player but his finishing and heading were leagues apart.

Cantona is too good to be considered. Have to give all the others a chance

Cantona wasn't internationally great, through his own stupid anti-professionalism, he was also not around long enough to be even thought of.

Ive said this before on here...I dont think this was down to my bias (as I do rate a lot of United players) but I always though the fuss that surrounded Cantona made people think he was better than he was.

Cantona is a United legend, trying to be unbiased I think the others in my list are more worthy a mention.

I would seriously (injuries aside) put Solskjaer above Cantona in terms of his commitment, attitude and loyalty to his team, he was very prolific in terms of minutes played:goals.
