My sisters been on a treck in peru through the amazon, staying in mud huts & washing & cooking in river water & didnt come down ill. We go to a supposed 5* hotel & are unwell for the duration & then some. 
I think the Dr & the chef are in business. Dr pays the chef to make the guests unwell, he then charges then £500 for treatment - nice wee business. Obviously I cannot prove anything but thats my theory!!

Went to Sharm last year
Stayed in Jaz Mirabel Park - lovely hotel
Nice relaxing holiday - Stomach was a bit off but I beleive it was the rice as they cook the rice in their own water
Would reccomend

Went to Taba 2 years ago, was a good holiday, also left with dodgy stomach.
Next all inclusive is to the Maldives beginning of next year been before and it's  , 1k for 2 weeks on an island in the middle of nowhere

My brother went to same place as colin and he and his ex were really unwell the entire time also!

Hope you like quiet holidays, my parents went in May for a week and wouldn't go back, just far to quiet!
I'm going to Egypt end of Sept for first time, hopefully it lives upto what everyone says. Was fairly cheap for a week All Inc so even if its not, still a cheap week of food and drink in the sun!
I would suggest Turkey, been a few times and will go again. Some very nice places if you can put up with lots of hassle.
