You live in the highlands though as has been mentioned. Mine was also based on an average 12k miles a year. I bet yours is half that!!

Got an estimate through today for my impending Inspection II service - £967.98

Interestingly they have my car down as : E46 M3 Coupe Edition. There might be some truth behind this supposed limited S54 Edition then that ive been told I have.

Im 30 mins in either direction from Glasgow & Edinburgh.

Mileage is something like 6k because I dont commute, & the car is social and pleasure use only. I thought that would be the same for you as you only plan to use it at weekends?

Mine is for no communiting too...but I would do a lot more than 6k a year! I travel quite a bit on a weekend to football...both Saturday and Sunday. Plus training through the week...although thats only a couple of miles each way max.

There is absolutely no way insurance can prove how many miles you do, bar following you about covertly for a whole year.

Who's to say somebody else driving the car on their own insurance didn't do 10 of the 12k miles that year?
