Do you have a baffled sump? I never had any surge issues that i know of on my old XE but might be worth getting one even if its just for peace of mind? You must have a few quid under your bonnet.

As said Whiteline rear ARB, best thing i ever did to my corsa.

no, just std sump with baffle plate in. will look into baffled sump. theyre fair costly if i remember rightly though. oil surge would be bad for my engine and turbo etc.

only things you need to work are the brakes. so make sure they will be ok, brakes that fade ruined my first track day then the engine went pop from oil starvation! (not a corsa) not sure if corsas suffer the same problem?

dont worry about the handling if it slides about a little you will know what to tweak for neaxt time, then try it again and so on. its no fun if you just fit every track orientated part and go razzing round how does that make it more fun?
its not a race after all so spending a fortune on track tyres and so on achieves nothing other than being broke.

well ive already had to buy track tyres and some associated suspension parts just to make the car drive a bit better otherwise it wouldnt grip till end of 4th gear.

i understand its not a race, but the car needs to be set up to go round a track better than it is. this is what i need to work on.

well the same tyres all round makes sense and get the back end down a bit but not too low as you still want some weight over the front end.
a stiffer rear arb would make the car turn in alot better then some negative front camber. on my mr2 track car i run upto nearly 2 degrees but thats more to compensate for other things try 1 degree and see how you get on.
id turn the power down a little too as its amazin how much faster you can enter and exit corners if your not fighting for traction.

i can map it using throttle % to hold it out of boost or lower boost round corners etc so thats something to maybe look at.

rear arb is something to add to the list. also a cage for my own safety. camber i will have a play with i think.

Gaz coilovers
whiteline rear arb
Omp front and rear strut braces
Remove front arb

Then have the car corner weighted as this makes a lot of difference. Get the suspension and geometry set up by a professional and then it sgould be fairly handy

front arb i find helps greatly with the car when it is actually fitted. especially on mine. ive tried it with and without.

i found gets a fair bit of twist and seemed to pull a lot more left to right when it was off. it seems to feel as if it pulls straighter and grips better with it on. less movement from tie bars perhaps

rear arb
stiffen up rear dampers
what are your pads rated to? (temp/ friction coef)
Has your oil cooler got a thermostat?
Do you have oil temp/pressure gauges?
I wouldn't worry too much about getting the back lowered too much, has to be higher at the back anyway for dynamic weight transfer.
ken?

Take it on track first and then figure out what needs sorting. Won't need much changing from the list you have. Same tyres on all four corners is a must though. Baffled sump or windage tray would be a good idea aswell, easy to make yourself.
