Well, bit of a shit update as I have really done absolute fuck all to it!
Thought about selling it a few weeks back as I really want a Land Rover to do some off roading. But doing 300-400miles a week it really wouldnt be sensible so will keep it for now.
Hadnt washed it for a month so it had about 1500miles worth of dirt on it so sorted that out on Saturday:
Before
50/50 on the wheel
and clean
It has aload of swirl marks on it so will give it a polish before the end of this month.
Its going on the rollers on the 28th of November for the SE RR day @ TOTD. Was going to do the inlet mod before then but wouldnt mind seeing what its running at standard so will do that next year. Gives me a bit more time to save up for xmas aswell!
Well since the last update I bought a boat for the summer
and a Traxxas Tmaxx 2.5 Nitro Truck. Picked it up for £70 from a bloke at work. He had crashed it and it was in bits, but it came with £100 worth of spares so fixed it with some of them. Enjoyed it for a bit then I fucked the engine. Couldnt get it to run right and it kept cutting out which resulted in me breaking the pull start.
Decided to replace the 2.5cc engine with a 4.26cc. Its alot bigger. Bought a roll cage for it on ebay last week which I got powdercoated black at work. But going to re-do it white this week. Also got a New air-filter. Still need to order a new pull start, exhaust, shock covers, steering servo, shell and paint the wheels florecent pink and yellow as I painted them white and hate it
Anyway, a few pics of the progress:
Once its finished I would have put about £300 into it so there really isnt much money for the Corsa atm!
Anyway, back to the Corsa. Since having it, there has always been a smell of fuel coming from the vents. Having put 20000 miles on it, its starting to get annoying now. Going to have a look behind the inlet at the weekend and try and find the leak (guessing its that). Will spray it black whilst its off and will spray the engine cover pink while im at it.
Hopefully get it working ok ready for the RR day and go from there.

Well, one of the fog lights stoped working a few months ago. Find them quite handy as I drive to work in the pitch black in the morning and have had enough on guessing where the road is.
Took the bumper off as I couldnt be bothered crawling around trying to get it out:
Broken
Bumper off
Pic of my Mondeo horn
and my GF reversing it out the garage who passed her test a few weeks back!
anyway, it was working for a day and it then went out again. Took it off again tonight and one of the bulb wires was broken inside. So back down to Halfords to buy another bulb. Seems to be ok again now so fingers crossed! Pain in the fucking ass tho!
Also tried painting the plastic engine cover florecent (sp) yellow but the paint from Halfords was runny so fucked that up big time. Wont even bother uploading pics of it!
Anyway, car went to TOTD for the SE RR day and made 108.9bhp which I was happy about. But obviously thats not correct atall! Thanks to Daveskater for geting a vid and pics of it, and Mike B for holding my phone whilst it was recording!

Cars rotten again atm. Covered in mud due to driving down muddy country lanes as one of the routes to work is flooded. Will proberly polish and wax it over the weekend if I have time.
Think I will start to respray the inteiror (sp) plastics black next week and re-fabric the roof lining.
Plans for next year are:
Inlet mod
Polish rocker cover
V6 brakes
Get the camber redone and weld/paint around bolts
40 tyres on rear and new tyres on the front as I noticed they are bald atm!
Genuine MHW rears
Thats it for now...
