I have a Navman f20 or something like that. Its spot on, does what it is supposed to. I like the function where you can find a service, so you select petrol station and it brings up a list of the nearest which you pick and it shows you the route, imagine most do similiar. The only downfall to the navman which isn't a problem to me but possibly for my dad who is going a bit deaf, is the loudness.

Tomtoms have a "Point of interest" facility, pretty good, has everything from petrol stations, cashpoints, carparks, garages etc etc.

any left lol
what is this lane assist thingy?
I find tomtom exciting at times as once i went to go view a car it took me down a 2-3 mile long country road, those two way traffic but single lane ones when i could have just used the main road, afterwards i was like wtf was that all about

its too slow gettin round dublin city cte though, by the time youve turned a corner and need to turn right/left the satnav is still trying to catchup... not helpful in a city that severely lacks signs of any kind!
