Hayle - Cornwall, A place called Riviera Sands, nice enough chalets, right onto a 3 miles beach with crystal clear water, night life is reasonable.

Kenmore is great! Stayed up there a lot, usually in the lodges between Killin and that water sport place (doesnt narrow it down at all does it)

We tend to enjoy New Forest as so peaceful and relaxing but you have Bournemouth etc for nightlife and a bit of fun and beach.

However a few places on this link have tickled our fancy http://www.wildernesscottages.co.uk/cottagePage.asp?cottageId=144

If your going for a week or 2 you might aswell go abroad, it will probably work out cheaper and youve much better odds of it being decent weather.

Ive been holidaying in the UK several times, and been to some nice places, only for a couple days at a time though. Anything more than a few days then i'll go abroad.

I stayed in Hayle last year but not at that place. Hayle is a shit hole.

We spent all our time in St Ives which is literally 5 mins away
