My university and course required 3 A's at A-Level. Nothing less would do.

In Scotland ABC or fail when i was at school but you get D's thesedays  hence why the percentage of people passing has probably gone up.
Also John, A-levels count for more UCAS points than our highers therfore an A is the equivelant of an advanced higher for us.

i got an as level in business studies as i left after just over 1 year. although i got 6 a's and 3 b's at gcse. check me out. how clever am i. ps this was back in mid 90's when exams were difficult.
