Its difficult to plan a wedding in England anyway, you always want nice weather, but you can book it for August or January and guaranteed the January date will be warm, dry and sunny and in August it will be pissing it down, foreign wedding FTW

Fuck spending £25k on a wedding. It only ends in divorce now days. I dont know anyone, bar mine, who have parents that dont have kids with someone else or has married someone else

i'd spent about 1.5k , seems a decent price for a good ring.

as for weddings, we will be going abroad to get married as my uncle went dominican republic and had the time of his life and got married at the same time. cheap too.

don't buy from the high street. they're all nasty diamonds unless you pay ££££s

i got my fiancee's ring from:
http://www.samarajames.com/

remember the 4 c's:
cut - i like the 'round brilliant' or 'princess'
clarity - the best you can afford
colour - they start at D. G & H are a decent colour
carat - the biggest you can afford

make sure you know her size. although the link i've provided offer free resizing

as for the budget... something around £800-£1k should be decent.

make sure you get a diamond with a certificate.

Who gives a fuck how much it costs? At the end of the day you should get a ring that symbolises your relationship and obviously something your bird would like, not something that you can brag to your mates/random people on the Internet about because it cost you the national debt of some third world countries!

Obviously don't get some mass produced shit from Argos or whatever that cost you a tenner BTW

I suggest to skimp on the ring and put a load of money to buying the dress, or even better two!

I need a suitable garter to tuck my length into. 22" with an added pouch should do.
