Why would the away fans be banned just cos a couple of things get lobbed onto the pitch?

Bit harsh banning him for the celebration IMO.

Football is about passion, and thats what he was showing. Soon enough you wont even be able to celebrate. It will be handshakes all round and resume play with minimal fuss.

I can only guess you havent seen it?

Passion would be going mental in front of HIS fans at the end he scored at. It goes way beyond passion as soon as you sprint the full length of the pitch, away from your fans and team mates, to deliberately wind up the opposing fans.
