Just a quick update, on the drive home after it had been painted, my oil cooler decided to give up the ghost and since it is water cooled. sooked all of the oil out of the engine and into the water system.

and by the time my oil light came on and i could hear some funny noises it was to late.

so looks like new engine time. so just went out and got myself a 1.7td. the work begins .......

As he said. Are you not baking it in an oven or something?

looking good what boost are you going to be running?

not sure what type of exhaust system you have on there but a nice straight through with a large bore will give you a nice gain aswel as allowing it to rev more freely

not sure to be honest its running 16psi at the moment and feels pretty quick at that.
and the exhaust is a 2" stainless custom made job with 2 boxes including the back box didnt want it to be too noisy, am tempted to get a rolling road done on it to see the bhp but coming up to xmas i dont think the wife would be to happy LOL.
