You could screw the numberplate over that hole... It will still fit the recess and cover a part of the IC, but air will still get to it...

Yeh, bumpers will be staying black. And the bonnet catch will still be used.

Thats where the numberplate was origionally, I thought that it covered too much of the IC?

Anyone know how small you can go with the number plate border whilst keping it legal?

Update

Picked up my wheels off Rick

In the process of painting the centre caps and bonnet pins matt black.

Will get some new tyres once i've sold the Vectra SRI's and Corsa SXI's.

Got round to swaping the rear bushes for some Polyrace items from Rally Design.

Both inner rear arches needed welding so out came the angle grinder to cut out all the rust and then welded once more.

Then got the rest of the underneath down to the metal and gave it a coat of zinc primer and then black underseal.

Pics...

Tried the wheels on for size

Next up is to fit the Whiteline rear ARB and all other bushes then underseal the front and give everywhere a coat of black wax oil.

Update

Brakes arrived

Painted centre caps and trial fitted wheels over brakes -

Painted bonnet pins black and finally fitted the bonnet properly
(Poor Picture)

Bit of weave

Finally, picked up a boot as mine has rust in the usual places -

Wiper off; no rust

That is all

Been busy the last few weekends and don't get time in the week anymore with the dark nights.

Fitted the 4pots and braided lines all round last weekend though but didnt get any pictures because the battery died on the camera.

Might get some tyres next weekend then the Mo's can be fitted.

I've put the 1.0 12v badges on the new tailgate, so need to fit the spoiler and then get that fitted.

Still got plenty to keep me busy!

No updates yet mate, will do it at the weekend. It's been snowed in for a while and with the dark evenings it's been hard finding time to work on it.

Wheels and brakes are on, still need to bleed them and fit rear braided hoses though. New headunit and plasma dials have been fitted too. Will most probably fit the rear ARB tomorrow and take some pictures.
