Because you said something that cost £64 was £64 too much, i.e. you like to get your clothes for free.

If you've got the money and want to waste it on "fashionable" stuff then fair enough.
£40 a plain long sleeve t-shirt
Not for me i'm afraid, limit of £20 on a t-shirt, and from independent or skate stores, so not every twat on earth owns the same thing, a la topman/river island

Genuine question...you can get something thats decent quality, and a short run item for £20 or less in a small independent store?

Well, I say independent, I just mean it's not a national brand store. And yeah, not had anything break/rip to shreds on me.
I generally wear skate stuff which is made to suffer really, and I normally go for sales anyway, not a fashion person really.

Ah cool, just as the cost of that sort of thing made in small numbers is often higher simply due to the short run cost to produce, hence arent normally £20.
TBH I cant remember the last time I spent that on a T-Shirt (that wasnt on sale). Even if Im just buying a plain white V-Neck or something for under jumpers from River Island or somewhere they'll be more than that!

I generally don't shop in Top Man because everyone will have it, not keen on their stuff anyway! Never seen anything decent in River Island.

Yeah, not having a go, just not the way i spend my money, like I said, if you can afford it, then go for it.
tbh, the last things I bought were from primark (just plain white t-shirts for egypt holiday, £3 each :cool And before that, t-shirts that I actually wear, was in Bulgaria, snowboarding in Jan.
Other than that i'll look in twoseasons and places like that, 3 for 2 on t-shirts, £15-25 each, so works out at £20ish per item

UK fashion is awful compared to Ireland IMO, the stuff out there is much much classier and IMO libel to stay in fashion a lot longer Its also very exp thanks to the exch rate!
