Tried Vauxhall themselves?
If not, look on eBay.

I've run into a problem trying to fit new rear brake shoes on MY Corsa B 1.6 Sport. In a nut shell, the only way I can get the drum back on is with a hammer, it's that tight a fit, obviously wrong. I've slackened the self adjuster 'bolt' off to the end of the thread and as far as I can tell, that's the only way to bring the shoes as close together as possible before refitting the drum. The bottom of both shoes rests on a fixed pivot point with no adjustment. The tops of the shoes are brought at close together by adjustment of the self adjusting 'bolt'. The pistons on the slave cylinder are resting on the internal spring as there is no hydraulic pressure in the system. Am I missing something here? I've never had this amount of grief before, not that I've ever done a Corsa.

No, I mean the drum won't turn freely when the wheel is on, it doesn't move.

the big upper spring,
below it is a rod, thats the adjuster, it has a metal triangle looking thing sitting on it, where it sits on the rod ... ... that bit is threaded, wind it in a bit, tap the shoes centre again, and refit the drum.

I've cleaned the thread up on the adjuster, smeared it with a small amount of oil and would it in to the end of the thread. No more adjustment there.

you wind it in. so theres no thread showing iirc
make sure the shoes are centre and the cylider pistons aren't pushing on them

The threads on the adjuster arms are wound in to their ends and opposite shoes are bearing on the forked ends of the adjuster indicating that they are not bearing on the pistons.

The handbrake is adjusted up too far. Thats why your lever on the left shoe is too far to the right. It should be back sitting at the left close to the left hand shoe.
Back off the handbrake adjuster, then adjust up your shoes, then pump the brake a few times, then finally nip up the handbrake if needed.
Best so far...will try tonight

I'm pretty certain from that pic of the shoes that you have the handbrake lever on a couple of clicks.
