ice is more of an issue in this country than snow on the roads. and tbh, a winter tyre wont help you in ice anyway.

Tbh they should be renamed cold weather tyres. At 7°c and below winter tyres have a distinct braking advantage especially when its wet. In this country thats between October and April and knowing the UK, most the time as well lol.

I'm contemplating winter wheels, but thats only because I have a big car, with 235/35/R19's on at the min, live countryside (getting to farm everyday on roads that dont get gritted) and thats in a place called Consett, for anyone from North East will know how bad it gets up there! Although, tbh, just considering a new car
