I'm thinking the same just looking at them. Also thinking of doing away with the badgeless grille, Looks a bit too cheap and nasty now!

Been away on holiday, So not much has been happening. Had some bits to fit when I came back.
Has the front bumper painted whilst I was on holiday, Fitted it today along with a relay and new headlight switch so the fogs actually do work. Also had a fly eyes kit lying around so I covered the fogs with them to hide the stonechips on the lenses.
Also fitted the front centre armrest.

Fitted a Vectra C airbox inlet pipe to the car before. Just waiting on a K&N Panel filter. Also de restricted and drilled the airbox ready.
Before
The difference between the two. Vectra c one is the lower one.
After
While it was nice, I spent a day polishing it all up. Tried to buff a few bits out by hand but failed
I used Auto Glym super resin polish, Followed by Auto Glym ultra deep shine then topped it off with some Meguires carnabura wax. Cleaned the tyres with sone meguires endurance tyre shine and the black plastics with Auto Glym bumper care.
Sorry about the crappics, The lens was dirty on the camera.
Will be getting the patches sorted on the drivers door very soon, As it lets the car down alot!
Now on the lookout for a new interior for it. Got my eye on one on ebay.

Looking for a new CD player as the one i have won't support steering wheel controls. Already got the lead just need to find a new one now.

Was bored the other day so I de locked the drivers door. Took all of 5 mins to do. No pics of it yet as my camera is away for repair.
Also got the steering wheel controls working and a new headunit. (Think i have had 4 headunits in this already! )
Car is booked in next saturday to have the drivers door painted. Also debating on doing something with the roof and bonnet. Got the idea off a mates car
Unsure of colours. He did his metallic kawasaki green, But i'm thinking of a grey sort of colour. Pic doesn't quite show the roof properly though
(Sadily the golf has since been written off, Went in a spectacular fashion though!!!)

What happened to the Golf? I've seen that about quite a few times recently.
Did you say you weighed the Vec SRi alloys in?

He lost control of it and rolled it. Its a right mess at the minute!
Yeah, weighed them in as to get them to how i wanted them would have cost more than i wanted to spend. Found the sri ones in the scrappy so went for them instead.

Painted the drivers door as there was 2 dents in it that had a patch of paint sprayed over them.
Heres the car in primer
Finished with a delocked drivers door handle put on.
Colour match is not 100% right. It looks too grey plus the feathering in is a bit rough. Wasn't expecting much as it was a cheap job. Its something that i will sort out at a proper bodyshop in the future.
Also fitted a set of mudflaps from the scrappy i got this morning.
Whilst i was fitting the mudflaps i test fitted the rear Irmscher splitter
Will be fitting it in the next few weeks. Waiting on a front one so i can do them at the same time.

Went to pick the splitter up and was stuck in traffic for nearly an hour, Then the air con packed in and when i got there it wasn't even a genuine one as he said over the phone and it was smashed to bits. Ended up coming home with fuck all!
So, The search goes on for the front splitter!
