It is clean and each to there own and everything but personally I could not justify £200 on washing a car. (yes I know its had paint correction)

If your happy with it though that's all that matters.

I'd do it tbh. Mine was done just before I bought it and in 2 years I've put about 2 coats of polish on it - it gets washed about twice a week and even after a quick wash it comes up brilliantly. Arden blue as well, best colour of course

There's some good pics there Dave!! Will add my few in a minute with a bit of a write up for you

In answer to a few points raised in here:

Was a stage 2 detail @ £200, then -10% CS Discount, so £180 plus special rate on travelling. I have said it time and time again but it never seems to get much interest once I actually propose it: I am more than prepared to travel well out of my area for the work, providing it's worth my while! Ie. 2 or 3 details so I get a full weeks work out of it inc the large amount of travelling etc it'd involve. If people are genuinely serious, let me know and I'll get a thread up in the appropriate regional section to try and sort something.

Jr - Thanks mate! But your a cheeky coont I'm 22! At least I'm about twice your height though

John - Bird etchings can normally be improved providing the paint thickness is decent enough - it involves wet sanding and machining to rectify that issue; something I work on quite regularly.

And re. comments of £200 - that's still bloody cheap compared to many out there! And on a lot of the cars I work on, £200 is nothing when it increases the value of their car by a few hundred quid to a couple of grand

Pics to follow...

Cheers for the pics and write up Rich, I look really moody in that pic It's the curve of the panel, honest I didn't even realise I was in the shot

To everyone that's read and commented - Thanks for all the replies, I was expecting hundreds of "would look better with real fairy liquid" It feels sooooo smooth though and the colour is even more . Taking ten years of abuse off really does make all the difference You have to see it in person tbh as the pics really don't look as good as it does for real.

Not much change I'm afraid mate - it's the labour that's the "pricey" part - the products in general are all fairly well priced these days as I've spent the last 20 months shopping around and buying bulk to get prices down!
